Kyoto Garden in Holland Park

London urban sketchers met up in the Design Muesum on Kensington High Street in November. I decided to brave the gloomy weather and sketch out doors in the nearby Holland Park. Kyoto Garden, opened in 1991, was a gift from the city of Kyoto to celebrate the long standing friendship between Japan and Great Britain.

Urban sketching and watercolour is my hobby. I'm a biochemist by training and work for the NHS full time as a healthcare scientist.
