Covent Garden
I spent my birthday sketching in Covent Garden. I had lunch in Chinatown, Portuguese custard tarts (the best outside Portugal!) and coffee in Soho, and browsed art material in L.Cornelissen and Son. Very much my kind of birthday. It was a beautiful but cold day. I sat in the piazza outside Apple Market and sketched the giant baubles and mistletoe until I couldn’t feel my fingers and toes.
